Flow Switches
A flow switch is a device used to monitor the flow of liquids or gases in a system. It detects whether the flow is above or below a certain threshold and can trigger alarms or control systems accordingly. Flow switches are commonly used in various applications, including HVAC systems, water treatment plants, and industrial processes.
These devices typically consist of a sensing element and a switch mechanism. When the flow rate changes, the sensing element responds, activating the switch. This action can help prevent equipment damage, ensure safety, and maintain efficient operation in systems involving pumps, valves, and pipes.
