Flocks
Flocks refer to groups of animals, particularly birds, that gather together for social, protective, or foraging purposes. Common examples include flocks of sparrows or flocks of geese. These gatherings can vary in size, from a few individuals to thousands, depending on the species and environmental conditions.
Flocking behavior provides several advantages, such as increased safety from predators and improved foraging efficiency. When animals move together, they can confuse predators and make it harder for them to target a single individual. Additionally, flocking allows for better communication and coordination among members of the group.
