Fletcher-class
The Fletcher-class was a class of destroyers built for the United States Navy during World War II. These ships were designed for anti-submarine warfare, escort duties, and fleet screening. A total of 175 Fletcher-class destroyers were constructed, making them one of the most numerous classes of warships in history.
Fletcher-class destroyers were known for their speed, agility, and firepower. They typically featured a displacement of around 2,050 tons and were equipped with a variety of weapons, including torpedoes and anti-aircraft guns.
