Flea Life Cycle
The flea life cycle consists of four main stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Adult fleas lay tiny eggs on their host or in the environment, which can fall into carpets or bedding. These eggs hatch into larvae that feed on organic debris, including flea feces, before spinning cocoons to enter the pupal stage.
In the pupal stage, fleas can remain dormant for several months until they sense a host nearby. Once conditions are right, they emerge as adult fleas, ready to jump onto a host and continue the cycle by feeding and reproducing.
