Flat Track Roller Derby
Flat Track Roller Derby is a team sport played on a flat oval track. Two teams, typically consisting of five players each, compete to score points by having their designated scorer, called a jammer, lap opposing players. The game is fast-paced and combines elements of strategy, speed, and physicality.
Each team has blockers who work to protect their jammer while trying to impede the opposing team's jammer. Matches are divided into short segments called jams, lasting up to two minutes. The sport emphasizes athleticism and teamwork, making it popular among fans and participants alike.
