Flash memory
Flash memory is a type of non-volatile storage that retains data even when the power is turned off. It is commonly used in devices like USB drives, memory cards, and solid-state drives (SSDs). Flash memory is faster than traditional hard drives and has no moving parts, making it more durable and reliable.
This technology works by storing data in cells made of floating-gate transistors. When data is written to flash memory, electrical charges are used to change the state of these cells. Flash memory is widely used in consumer electronics, computers, and various applications requiring quick access to data.
