Flag of Argentina
The Flag of Argentina features three horizontal stripes: light blue at the top and bottom, with a white stripe in the middle. In the center of the white stripe is the Sun of May, a golden sun with a face and 16 rays. The colors are often interpreted as representing the sky and clouds, while the sun symbolizes freedom and independence.
Adopted on February 27, 1812, the flag was designed by Manuel Belgrano, one of Argentina's national heroes. The flag is a symbol of national pride and is prominently displayed during national holidays and events throughout Argentina.
