Fish-Eating Eagles
Fish-eating eagles, commonly known as ospreys, are large birds of prey that primarily feed on fish. They have keen eyesight, allowing them to spot their prey from great heights. Ospreys are found near water bodies like rivers, lakes, and coastal areas, where they can easily hunt for fish.
These eagles have unique adaptations for fishing, including long, sharp talons and reversible outer toes that help them grasp slippery fish. They are also known for their impressive diving skills, often plunging feet-first into the water to catch their meal. Ospreys are found on every continent except Antarctica.
