Fish Communication
Fish communicate using a variety of methods, including visual signals, sounds, and chemical cues. Many species display colors or patterns to convey messages, such as warning others of danger or attracting mates. Some fish, like clownfish, use body language to express their feelings or intentions.
In addition to visual communication, fish can produce sounds by rubbing their bones or using their swim bladders. These sounds can indicate distress or help establish territory. Furthermore, fish release chemicals called pheromones into the water, which can signal reproductive readiness or alert others to threats in their environment.
