First Wizarding War
The First Wizarding War was a conflict in the wizarding world that took place primarily during the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was fought between the dark wizard Lord Voldemort and his followers, known as the Death Eaters, and those who opposed him, including the Order of the Phoenix. The war resulted in significant casualties and turmoil within the magical community.
The war ended in 1981 when Voldemort attempted to kill the infant Harry Potter, which led to his own temporary downfall. This event marked a turning point in the wizarding world, as Harry became known as "The Boy Who Lived," symbolizing hope against dark forces.
