The First League is a professional football league in Serbia, established in 2006. It serves as the top tier of the Serbian football league system, featuring clubs from across the country. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Serbian League, which is the second tier. The First League consists of 16 teams that compete in a round-robin format, where each team plays every other team twice, once at home and once away.
