Fires
Fires occur when a material, such as wood or paper, ignites and burns, producing heat, light, and smoke. This process requires three elements: fuel, oxygen, and heat, often referred to as the fire triangle. Fires can happen naturally, like during a wildfire, or be caused by human activities, such as cooking or electrical faults.
Fires can be beneficial, as they help in clearing dead vegetation and promoting new growth in ecosystems. However, they can also be destructive, leading to property damage, loss of life, and environmental harm. Fire safety measures, including smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, are essential for prevention and protection.
