Finnish landscape
The Finnish landscape is characterized by its vast forests, numerous lakes, and rolling hills. Approximately 75% of Finland is covered in forests, primarily consisting of pine, spruce, and birch trees. The country is home to around 188,000 lakes, with Lake Saimaa being the largest, providing stunning views and recreational opportunities.
In addition to its natural beauty, Finland features unique geological formations, such as the Archipelago Sea, which consists of thousands of islands. The northern region, known as Lapland, showcases a different landscape with its tundra, mountains, and the famous Northern Lights that attract visitors from around the world.
