Finnish Sports Federation
The Finnish Sports Federation (Suomen Urheiluliitto) is the national governing body for sports in Finland. Established in 1907, it oversees various sports organizations and promotes physical activity across the country. The federation aims to enhance the quality of sports and support athletes at all levels, from grassroots to elite competition.
In addition to organizing national competitions, the Finnish Sports Federation works to develop sports policies and provide training for coaches and officials. It also collaborates with international sports organizations to ensure that Finnish athletes can compete globally and represent their country in events like the Olympics.
