Finnish Defence Forces
The Finnish Defence Forces (FDF) is the military organization responsible for the defense of Finland. It consists of three branches: the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. The FDF is known for its strong emphasis on conscription, requiring most male citizens to serve in the military for a period of time, which helps maintain a well-trained reserve force.
The primary mission of the FDF is to protect the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. In addition to national defense, the FDF also participates in international peacekeeping missions and collaborates with other countries through various military exercises and partnerships, including those with NATO and the European Union.
