Finnish American Heritage Center
The Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC) is located in Hancock, Michigan, and serves as a cultural hub for the Finnish American community. It was established to preserve and promote the history, culture, and traditions of Finnish immigrants in the United States. The center features exhibits, archives, and educational programs that highlight the contributions of Finnish Americans to the region.
In addition to its exhibits, the FAHC hosts various events throughout the year, including festivals, lectures, and workshops. It also collaborates with organizations such as the Finnish American Historical Society and the Finlandia University to enhance cultural awareness and community engagement.
