Fine Silver
Fine silver is a term used to describe silver that is at least 99.9% pure. This high level of purity means that fine silver is softer and more malleable than other silver alloys, making it ideal for certain applications like jewelry and decorative items. However, its softness can also make it less durable for everyday use.
Due to its purity, fine silver is often marked with the number "999" to indicate its quality. Unlike sterling silver, which contains 92.5% silver and other metals like copper, fine silver is prized for its bright luster and resistance to tarnishing, although it can still tarnish over time when exposed to air and moisture.
