Film-Based Imaging
Film-based imaging is a traditional method of capturing images using photographic film. In this process, light from a scene exposes the film, which contains light-sensitive chemicals. Once developed, the film reveals a negative image that can be printed onto photographic paper, creating a positive image.
This technique has been widely used in photography and cinema, with notable figures like Ansel Adams and Alfred Hitchcock utilizing it in their work. Although digital imaging has largely replaced film in many areas, film-based imaging is still appreciated for its unique aesthetic qualities and the tactile experience it offers to photographers.
