Filipino American
A Filipino American is a person of Filipino descent who is a citizen or resident of the United States. This group includes individuals born in the Philippines who later moved to the U.S., as well as those born in the U.S. to Filipino parents. Filipino Americans contribute to the rich cultural diversity of the United States, bringing traditions, languages, and customs from the Philippines.
The Filipino American community is one of the largest Asian American groups in the U.S., with significant populations in states like California and Hawaii. Many Filipino Americans are involved in various professions, including healthcare, education, and the arts, and they often celebrate their heritage through events like Filipino American History Month and Pahiyas Festival.
