Fight Or Flight
The "Fight or Flight" response is a physiological reaction that occurs in response to perceived threats. It prepares the body to either confront the danger (fight) or escape from it (flight). This response is triggered by the release of stress hormones, such as adrenaline, which increase heart rate, blood pressure, and energy supplies.
This instinctive reaction is crucial for survival, allowing individuals to react quickly in dangerous situations. The body prioritizes essential functions, redirecting blood flow to muscles and enhancing alertness. While beneficial in emergencies, chronic activation of this response can lead to health issues, such as anxiety and cardiovascular problems.
