Fiat G.50
The Fiat G.50 was an Italian fighter aircraft developed in the late 1930s. It was designed by Fiat and first flew in 1937. The G.50 featured a low-wing monoplane design and was powered by a single Piaggio radial engine, which gave it a maximum speed of around 500 km/h. It was primarily used by the Italian Air Force during World War II.
The aircraft was notable for its maneuverability and was equipped with a combination of machine guns for air-to-air combat. Despite its strengths, the G.50 faced challenges against more advanced fighters, leading to its gradual replacement by newer models throughout the war.
