Festa di San Ubaldo
The Festa di San Ubaldo is an annual festival held in the town of Gubbio, Italy, to honor its patron saint, Saint Ubaldo. Celebrated on May 15th, the festival features a colorful procession where participants carry large wooden structures called "Ceri". Each Cero represents one of the three patron saints of Gubbio: Saint Ubaldo, Saint George, and Saint Anthony.
The highlight of the festival is the race up the hill to the Basilica di San Ubaldo, where the Ceri are delivered. This event attracts thousands of visitors and showcases the town's rich traditions, community spirit, and devotion to its heritage.
