Fennec
The Fennec is a small fox native to the sandy deserts of North Africa. It is easily recognized by its large ears, which help dissipate heat and enhance its hearing. Fennecs have a sandy-colored coat that provides excellent camouflage in their arid environment.
These nocturnal animals primarily feed on insects, small mammals, and plants. Fennecs are well-adapted to desert life, able to survive with little water by obtaining moisture from their food. They live in burrows to escape the heat during the day and are known for their playful and social behavior.
