Female Condoms
Female condoms are a type of barrier contraceptive designed to prevent pregnancy and reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They are made from soft, flexible materials and are inserted into the vagina before sexual intercourse. Unlike male condoms, female condoms can be controlled by the woman, providing an alternative option for protection.
These condoms come in a pouch with a flexible ring at each end. The inner ring helps keep the condom in place, while the outer ring remains outside the vagina, covering the vulva. Female condoms are available without a prescription and can be used with water-based or silicone-based lubricants for added comfort.
