Federation Bells
Federation Bells is a unique public art installation located in Birrarung Marr, Melbourne, Australia. It consists of 39 bronze bells that play a variety of melodies, celebrating the history and culture of Australia. The bells are designed to be interactive, allowing visitors to engage with the music and experience the sounds of the installation.
The project was created to commemorate the centenary of Australia's federation in 2001. Each bell represents a different aspect of Australian life, and they are played at scheduled times throughout the day. The installation aims to create a sense of community and connection among visitors.
