Feast Of Weeks
The Feast of Weeks, also known as Shavuot, is a Jewish holiday celebrated seven weeks after Passover. It marks the end of the grain harvest and is traditionally associated with the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. This festival is observed by offering the first fruits of the harvest at the Temple and engaging in communal prayers and meals.
In addition to its agricultural significance, the Feast of Weeks is a time for spiritual reflection and study. Many Jewish communities stay up all night studying religious texts, particularly the Torah, to honor the importance of this event in their faith.
