Faster-than-Light travel
Faster-than-light (FTL) travel refers to the hypothetical ability to move faster than the speed of light, which is approximately 299,792 kilometers per second. According to the theory of relativity proposed by Albert Einstein, nothing with mass can reach or exceed this speed. FTL travel remains a popular concept in science fiction, often depicted through methods like warp drives or wormholes.
Despite its intriguing possibilities, FTL travel has not been achieved or proven possible in real-world physics. Current scientific understanding suggests that traveling faster than light would require exotic forms of energy or matter, such as negative energy or tachyons, which have not been observed.
