Farthing
A "farthing" was a small unit of currency used in the United Kingdom before decimalization in 1971. It was worth one-quarter of a penny and was often made of copper or bronze. The farthing coin featured various designs over the years, including images of the reigning monarch, such as Queen Victoria.
The farthing was introduced in the 13th century and remained in circulation until it was phased out in the 20th century. Although it is no longer used, the farthing is still of interest to collectors and historians, representing a significant part of British monetary history.
