Faramir
Faramir is a fictional character from J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy novel, The Lord of the Rings. He is the younger brother of Boromir and the son of Denethor, the Steward of Gondor. Faramir serves as a captain in Gondor's army and is known for his wisdom, bravery, and strong moral compass, often contrasting with his brother's more impulsive nature.
In the story, Faramir plays a crucial role in the defense of Gondor against the forces of Sauron. He encounters Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee during their quest to destroy the One Ring and demonstrates his integrity by choosing to let them continue their mission rather than taking the Ring for himself.
