Fano Plane
The Fano Plane is a finite projective plane consisting of seven points and seven lines. Each line contains exactly three points, and each point lies on exactly three lines. This structure is the smallest example of a projective plane and is often used in combinatorial design and geometry.
In the Fano Plane, the points can be labeled as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, while the lines can be represented as sets of points. For instance, one line might include points 1, 2, and 3. The Fano Plane is named after the Italian mathematician Giorgio Fano, who studied its properties in the early 20th century.
