Facial Paralysis
Facial paralysis is a condition that results in the loss of movement in the muscles of the face. It can occur on one side (unilateral) or both sides (bilateral) and may be caused by various factors, including Bell's palsy, stroke, or injury to the facial nerve. Symptoms often include drooping of the mouth or eyelid, difficulty closing the eye, and changes in facial expression.
Treatment for facial paralysis depends on the underlying cause and may include medications, physical therapy, or surgery. In many cases, individuals may experience partial or complete recovery over time, but some may have lasting effects.
