FUNCINPEC
FUNCINPEC is a political party in Cambodia founded in 1993. Its name stands for the National United Front for an Independent, Neutral, Peaceful, and Cooperative Cambodia. The party was established to promote democracy and national reconciliation after years of conflict in the country.
Historically, FUNCINPEC was a significant player in Cambodian politics, especially during the 1990s. It was led by Prince Norodom Ranariddh, who played a crucial role in the peace process. Over the years, the party has faced challenges, including competition from other political parties and internal divisions.
