FM/AM Radio
FM (Frequency Modulation) and AM (Amplitude Modulation) are two methods of transmitting radio signals. FM radio provides better sound quality and is less susceptible to interference, making it ideal for music broadcasts. It operates in the VHF (Very High Frequency) range, typically between 88 and 108 MHz.
AM radio, on the other hand, is known for its longer range and ability to travel further distances, especially at night. It operates in the MF (Medium Frequency) range, usually between 530 and 1700 kHz. While AM is often used for talk radio and news, its sound quality is generally lower than that of FM.
