FCS Championship
The FCS Championship, or Football Championship Subdivision Championship, is the annual title game for the NCAA Division I FCS football teams. It determines the national champion among the schools that compete at this level, which is one tier below the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The championship game typically takes place in January and features the two teams that have advanced through a playoff system.
The FCS playoffs consist of 24 teams, including automatic qualifiers from conference champions and at-large bids. The tournament format includes multiple rounds, culminating in the championship game. The event is held at a neutral site, often in a stadium that can accommodate a large number of fans, showcasing the talent and competitiveness of FCS football.
