F4F Wildcat
The F4F Wildcat was a carrier-based fighter aircraft used by the United States Navy during World War II. Designed by Grumman, it first flew in 1937 and became operational in 1940. The Wildcat was known for its ruggedness and ability to withstand damage, making it a reliable choice in combat.
