F-type Main Sequence Stars
F-type Main Sequence Stars are a category of stars that are slightly hotter and more massive than our Sun, classified as G-type stars. They have surface temperatures ranging from about 6,000 to 7,600 degrees Celsius and typically shine with a bright yellow-white light. These stars are known for their strong hydrogen fusion in their cores, which allows them to maintain stability over billions of years.
These stars are often found in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, where they occupy a specific region indicating their luminosity and temperature. F-type stars have a lifespan of around 2 to 4 billion years, after which they evolve into giant stars as they exhaust their hydrogen fuel.
