F-1 Visa
The F-1 Visa is a non-immigrant student visa that allows international students to study in the United States. It is specifically designed for those enrolled in academic programs, language training programs, or other educational institutions. To qualify, students must be accepted by a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-approved school and demonstrate sufficient financial support for their studies.
F-1 visa holders can remain in the U.S. for the duration of their academic program, plus any authorized practical training period. They are allowed to work on-campus and may apply for optional practical training (OPT) after completing their studies, which provides work experience related to their field of study.
