Executive Power
Executive power refers to the authority to enforce laws and manage the operations of government. In many countries, this power is held by the President or Prime Minister, who oversees the executive branch. This branch is responsible for implementing policies, administering public services, and ensuring that laws passed by the legislature are executed effectively.
The scope of executive power can vary significantly between different political systems. In a presidential system, the executive is separate from the legislative branch, while in a parliamentary system, the executive is derived from the legislature. This power often includes appointing officials, conducting foreign relations, and commanding the military.
