Eventide (Evening)
Eventide, or evening, is the period of the day that follows sunset and precedes night. It is characterized by the gradual fading of daylight, as the sun dips below the horizon. This time is often associated with a sense of calm and reflection, as many people wind down from their daily activities.
During eventide, the sky can display beautiful colors, ranging from deep oranges to soft purples, due to the scattering of light. This phenomenon is known as twilight, which occurs in three phases: civil, nautical, and astronomical. Each phase marks a different level of light and visibility in the sky.
