Eve Arden
Eve Arden was an American actress and comedian, best known for her roles in film and television during the mid-20th century. Born on April 30, 1908, in Mill Valley, California, she gained fame for her sharp wit and distinctive voice. Arden starred in numerous films, including Mildred Pierce, for which she received an Academy Award nomination.
In addition to her film career, Arden is widely recognized for her role as the wisecracking high school teacher, Constance Brooks, in the popular television series Our Miss Brooks, which aired from 1952 to 1956. Her contributions to entertainment earned her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
