Eusebius
Eusebius of Caesarea was a Christian historian and bishop who lived in the early 4th century. He is best known for his work, the "Ecclesiastical History," which chronicles the development of the early Christian church from the time of Jesus to his own era. Eusebius is often referred to as the "Father of Church History" for his detailed accounts and efforts to document the lives of early Christian leaders.
In addition to his historical writings, Eusebius contributed to biblical scholarship by compiling a list of the books of the New Testament and discussing the authenticity of various texts. His works provide valuable insights into the beliefs and practices of early Christians, as well as the challenges they faced during the Roman Empire.
