European Qualifications Framework
The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a system that helps compare qualifications across different countries in Europe. It provides a common reference framework that allows individuals, employers, and educational institutions to understand and recognize skills and qualifications, regardless of where they were obtained.
The EQF consists of eight levels, ranging from basic knowledge and skills to advanced expertise. Each level describes the learning outcomes, including knowledge, skills, and competencies, making it easier for people to navigate their educational and career paths within the European Union and beyond.
