European Judo Union
The European Judo Union (EJU) is the governing body for judo in Europe, responsible for organizing competitions and promoting the sport across the continent. Founded in 1984, the EJU works to develop judo at all levels, from grassroots to elite athletes, and collaborates with national federations to enhance training and education.
The EJU oversees various events, including the European Judo Championships and the European Judo Cup, which showcase top talent from different countries. It also plays a crucial role in the development of judo coaches and referees, ensuring the sport's growth and adherence to international standards set by the International Judo Federation (IJF).
