European Golf Association
The European Golf Association (EGA) is an organization that promotes and develops the sport of golf across Europe. Founded in 1958, it serves as a governing body for amateur golf, overseeing competitions and establishing rules and regulations. The EGA also works to enhance the quality of golf courses and support national golf federations.
In addition to organizing events, the EGA is responsible for the European Amateur Championship and the European Team Championships. It plays a crucial role in fostering international competition and collaboration among golfers, helping to elevate the sport's profile throughout the continent.
