European Association for Theoretical Computer Science
The European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) is an organization dedicated to promoting research and education in theoretical computer science across Europe. Founded in 1981, it serves as a platform for researchers to share their findings, collaborate, and advance the field through conferences, publications, and workshops.
EATCS also supports the development of theoretical computer science by organizing the annual International Conference on Automata, Languages, and Programming (ICALP) and publishing the Theoretical Computer Science journal. The association aims to foster a strong community of researchers and practitioners, enhancing the visibility and impact of theoretical work in computer science.
