Eurasian brown bear
The Eurasian brown bear (Ursus arctos arctos) is a subspecies of the brown bear found across Europe and Asia. They typically inhabit forests, mountains, and tundra regions, adapting well to various environments. These bears can weigh between 300 to 1,500 pounds and have a thick fur coat that varies in color from light brown to dark brown.
Eurasian brown bears are omnivorous, feeding on a diet that includes berries, roots, fish, and small mammals. They are solitary animals, except for mothers with cubs or during mating season. These bears hibernate during winter months, relying on fat reserves accumulated during the warmer seasons.
