The Eurasian Honey Buzzard is a medium-sized raptor found across Europe and Asia. It has a distinctive appearance, featuring a long tail and broad wings, which help it soar gracefully in the sky. Its plumage is generally brown with lighter underparts, and it often has a unique pattern of dark streaks.
This bird primarily feeds on honey and bees, using its strong beak to access hives. During the breeding season, the Eurasian Honey Buzzard builds nests in tall trees, where it lays two to four eggs.
