Eumetazoa
Eumetazoa is a major clade within the animal kingdom that includes all multicellular animals except for sponges. This group is characterized by having true tissues, which are organized into functional units. Eumetazoans exhibit a variety of body plans and levels of complexity, ranging from simple organisms like jellyfish to more complex ones like mammals.
Eumetazoa is divided into two primary groups: Radiata, which includes organisms with radial symmetry, and Bilateria, which includes those with bilateral symmetry. This classification reflects the evolutionary relationships and developmental patterns among different animal species, highlighting the diversity of life forms within the Eumetazoa clade.
