Eukaryotic Cell
A eukaryotic cell is a type of cell that has a defined nucleus and membrane-bound organelles. These cells are more complex than prokaryotic cells, which lack a nucleus. Eukaryotic cells can be found in a variety of organisms, including plants, animals, fungi, and protists.
The nucleus contains the cell's genetic material, or DNA, which is organized into chromosomes. Other organelles, such as mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum, perform specific functions that are essential for the cell's survival and operation. This complexity allows eukaryotic cells to carry out more specialized tasks compared to prokaryotic cells.
