Ethernet Ports
Ethernet ports are physical connectors found on computers, routers, and other network devices that allow for wired internet connections. They use a standard cable, known as an Ethernet cable, to transmit data between devices. This type of connection is often preferred for its reliability and speed compared to wireless options.
Typically, an Ethernet port is rectangular and slightly larger than a phone jack. It usually has eight metal pins inside, which help transmit data. These ports are commonly labeled as RJ45 ports, referring to the standard connector used in most local area networks (LANs).
